Publication type: Digital license GOG.com By law of Recettear, fair buying price is 50-70% of the actual value.Genre: RPG / 3rd Person / Action / Licenses / 2015 Buying my stuff at 12% and try to resell it to me at 100% is just obnoxious. I also change the merchant's price when buying your stuff from 12% (default) to 50%. At 25%, I still make money much more from selling swords from my fallen foes than doing quests/contract. I suspect 10% is better tho it seems a bit extreme. I personally set the price of goods at 25% from default, to make pay from contract and missions more meaningful. This is just stupid imo, unsustainable, coz many fun things you can buy in the game (horse equips, food, diagrams, gwent cards, etc). Pay from doing mission is often not enough to fix the damage to your gear from doing the mission nor cover food you eat for recovery in the mission (or alcohest to refill your potions used in the mission). You pretty much can't afford a damn thing. By default the game set the economy like the lore. but its a one of those games that is only as hard or as tough as you make it. Also, you can sell plants and flowers to a herbalist. when you steal from someones house, make sure they dont see you. Take EVERYTHING you find from bags, chests.
If you know your witcher Lore, then theres no advantage to turning it down and being nice, then again. Make sure you follow the "Witcher code" and take a reward for a quest. 9/10 if your losing a fight, you can run outside combat/ sheathe your sword / meditate for 1 hr. only spend money on armour kits / Repairs. do as many of the " ? " quests as you can, thats where youll make your money. if you read ALL the Beastiery, books and letters you come across and learn a bit of lore. Its not a HARD game, it just gets more intense (more mobs at once). not just completed for the bragging rights. It's costly and should only ever be done when you absolutely need some ingredient that you cannot find any other way.ĭont bother with exploits or cheat codes. There is no way to reverse that either other than loading a save prior to when you added the money. It will overflow the stack and the game will then read it as negative and won't allow you to make any purchases whatsoever because it believes you don't have any money at all. Just don't get overly greedy as you can break your game if you input way too much money all at once. But you can safely use the Debug Console for money.

Don't bother making them all if you won't be wearing them. Pick one that you believe will suit your playing style and only craft that set and its upgrades. Best gear in the game is the Witcher stuff. Don't waste money doing repairs either or crafting a ton of stuff that isn't necessary. Only buy Gwent cards if you're bothering to take it seriously during your run. Don't waste money buying every single diagram you see at merchants. Only legit way in the game is to loot everything that isn't nailed down and sell it.
